The last post of this blog is after SYF .
Goodness , nobody have been updating this blog .
Okay , I think everyone is busy with their own personal stuffs .
For the past few weeks , we're busy with :
1. Studies
2. Exams
3. Band pract
4. Leadership Camp
Next up :
1. Band camp {tomorrow !}
2. Band Investiture
and more
Will update more when we're free .

The ocean did glow
I'm finally back after a short hiatus .
I find this blog so dead , so decided to update .
Okay . SYF is over already .
Next up, MYE and then Band Under The Stars!
Put in the same amount of time and effort that you had put in during the SYF period .
You have to start revising now !
Academic is number 1 priority now!
All The Best !
There will be a band practice on 5th May , 3.30pm-6.30pm to prepare us for the SYF Aesthetics Showcase on the 6th May .
We will be playing our set and choice piece :)
Recently , the weather is very humid .
So , please drink more water and rest well .
Don't fall sick !

hey!
the flute section alumni are very proud of you all! you all managed to get what we have aimed for ever since the SYF 2 years back. so also means that you all fulfilled our dream!
im definitely sure that the gold that you all got was not due to miracle. it was due to the hard work and effort you all putted in for the past few months! i knew you guys could do it!
now SYF is over. so its back to relax and studying time! exams are coming soon uh? study hard yah? and let's wish jasmine all the best for her Os!
we shall have a retreat after the exams! ICE CREAMMMMMMMM! see which day you guys are free and we shall celebrate together! =)

TODAY IS THE DAY!
i know you all confirm will not get to see this post in time, but i still wanna throw in my well wishes! so bear with me okie?
its really worrying that ALL of you have not been to indoor SYF before! but whatever it is, we (flute section alumni) always believe in you all! we believe you all can do it! have confidence in yourself! GLOW ON THAT STAGE! do your best with no regrets! i dont want to hear any "if only" after you get the results.
important:

- focus
- watch
Angeline:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6! you can do it! dont feel nervous yah? i understand how you feel playing first alone, but no worries! constant air! if not your high notes will go off. take your time to play those 6 notes, but at the same time, watch mf. COUNT! STAY CALM!
Egan:
you arh! cannot nervous! if not your embrochure.... constant air also. you can do it! remember to come in together with the other brids for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6!
Rachel:
you another one! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6! stay calm and dont panic! if not your 6 notes wont be together. BREATHE and try to get in tune with the rest. cover those holes properly also, if not no sound.
you can do it! have some confidence can? STAY CALM!
Stephanie, Clara & Valerie:
your very first SYF. dont worry yah? just do your best! enjoy the time on stage and play well! MORE AIR! brethe too! remember to watch. dont put those months of effort to waste! we have faith in you girls!
Hui Yu:
you another one! MORE AIR! dont go flat! play well! dont blur blur hor! watch! you can do it de! have more confidence also! dont panic later. BRETHE AND STAY CALM!

wah.. finally going to step down already uh? happy anot? but you still have SYF 这一关! hahaha! tune to the people around you! and count and watch! after today, you will have all the time to concentrate on your studies already. so concentrate on SYF first okie? hahaha!

all the best! just do your best and enjoy! glow and enjoy yourself on stage!

Remember our story .
The yacht, The Sun, The Calm Sea
3 more hours of practice to SYF !
1 more day !
Please remember to bring your FULL BAND UNIFORM (+ribbons +long socks +boots) on MONDAY(06/04/09) tomorrow !
Tomorrow will be our last band practice.
So , please stay FOCUS !
Now that our aim is higher , we must really Jiayou !
& don't forget what we have been taught .
